It opens on an excerpt from Strauss' Im Abendrot- which accompanied the credit sequence- though the track it cut to in the film is absent (In the Mood by Glen Miller). These 15 tracks are a typically eclectic selection and rank next to the soundtracks to Twin Peaks, Lost Highway & Mulholland Drive. I actually prefer the soundtrack to Wild at Heart over the film itself at the moment (felt it went on a bit last time I watched it).
